Glaston Group has entered into a follow-up transaction with Lippert Components Inc., headquartered in the United States, which is an industry-leading manufacturer and supplier of recreational vehicles (RV), marine, power sports, and public transportation markets for automotive Processing wire and insulating material glass wire. Orders are booked in Glaston's Q4/2020 order book. These lines will be delivered in the third and fourth quarters of 2021.
In June 2020, Glaston disclosed the transaction of Lippert Component Inc. (LCI) automotive pretreatment line, Glaston Matrix series bending furnaces and high-performance laminating equipment. Driven by strong demand, LCI decided to substantially expand its new plant in Bristol, Indiana by the end of 2020.
Lippert Components Inc. continuously invests in the latest technologies to bring innovative products and solutions to the market. Glaston's multifunctional product portfolio includes heat treatment technology, insulating glass technology and automotive glass technology, enabling LCI to meet the diverse needs of its customers.
For their new investment, LCI decided to continue to cooperate with Glaston. To power the existing Glaston bending and laminating equipment, LCI ordered an automotive CHAMP Cut Breakout grinding line. In addition, the transaction also includes a second TPS® insulating glass production line for additional insulation capacity running in parallel with the previously purchased TPS® insulating glass production line.
The customer's investment in 2020 covers equipment in all three business areas of Glaston, which makes LCI one of Glaston's largest new machine customers in 2020.
